restore achrive and links

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has already written a script to restore a archive module and transfer the existing links to the newly restored archive module and is willing to share the script? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You want to "captureLinks.dxl" the original module, to put the linked information in text attributes.  After archiving and restoring, you want to recreate the links with either "Link By Attribute" or some "createLinks.dxl" script.  The two named scripts are floating around the cloud; search here or use google.

I wonder however.  If you archive from one database and restore in another; that other database must have target modules similar or identical to the original database.  If you restore in the SAME database, I think it better to do a clever copy-paste instead of archive-restore.
